Brandon Fleischer is a New York-based writer, director, and actor. Most recently, he wrote, produced, and directed [internally screaming]: comedies on capitalism at The Tank in New York City. Brandon made his professional playwriting debut with the 2019 world premiere of his show Rise of the Ventis in No Frills Theatre Collective’s New Thrills Festival. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.

Brandon is committed to sharing the joy of theater with a wide variety of audiences. He is an ambassador for AfterWork Theater, a nonprofit dedicated to enriching the everyday lives of adults with inclusive, accessible theatrical experiences. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Brandon launched the NYC Theater Listserv in 2018 to help make theater accessible to more New Yorkers. This free, weekly email kept subscribers up to date on openings and closings throughout the city, from Broadway to community theater.

Originally from New Jersey, Brandon lives in the Hudson Valley with his wife, Meg, and their chaotic Labrador Retriever, Coda. When he’s not in a theater, you can find him cheering on Philly sports teams, taking Coda on long walks, and catching up on the latest Mike Schur comedy.
